Name: Vanessa Burt Facilities Manager Vanessa joined DMS in 2013, bringing with her over 26 years experience in repairs maintenance and compliance. Vanessa ensures that our company is compliant with all legislations and client specifications. She works closely with our residents, keeping them up to date with any works being carried out at their property. She is then able to adapt the works to meet the resident’s needs. Vanessa is our aids and adaptations specialist, ensuring the correct specialist materials are purchased and the risk assessment requirements are met on every job. She is also our fire officer for the company and will do regular site visits to ensure that the required standard of works are being adhered to by our operatives. Whilst being employed at DMS Vanessa has been able to update her SMSTS, first aid and Asbestos Awareness certificates.

Name: Paul Sutton  Surveyor  Paul has been a member of the DMS team since 2012. Paul started with us as a carpenter with over 15 years previous experience working on building sites, extensions and loft conversions. With the help of DMS, Paul was promoted as a site foreman in 2014 and then on to a Project Manager in 2016. DMS then supported Paul in furthering his career by helping him to obtain a building surveyor qualification via the RIC academy. Paul continues to study in the prospect of achieving the APC to become chartered in building surveying this year. Paul has extensive knowledge in all trades and works hard to ensure all works are finished to a high standard. He ensures all voids, planned works and extension works keep to a strict schedule to ensure maximum efficiency. Paul will also be heading our new surveying services this year.
Name: Dave Perrett  West Kent Area Manager  First joined DMS in September 2012, with 30 years’ experience in the building and construction industry, from hands on through to site management, having acquired various qualifications and certifications in that period.   David first joined DMS as a voids manager, ensuring the day to day running of the voids contracts, organising labour, materials and equipment and liaising with our clients’ to ensure that the refurbishment(s) were completed to meet specifications, time and budget.  When this contract finished, he became the general contracts manager, overseeing all works and projects that were carried out, from the initial pricing and planning, through to completion of works. Agreeing the final project value with the client.  David now predominantly works from his office at home looking for new leads for the company and newly published tenders. If there are works or quotes that are required to be carried out in East Sussex then David will attend these for DMS to either quote and/or to carry out the works and to sign off all the works once there are complete to ensure they are up to DMS’s standards.
Name: Lucy Talbot Customer Service Administrator  Lucy joined DMS in 2015, with over 10 years’ experience in customer service and administration. Lucy manages our sub-contractor services, liaising with our valued sub-contractor’s on a daily basis to ensure an excellent standard of service is provided to our clients as well as cost control. Lucy assists our project managers with the organisation of void works as well as the purchasing of all materials for large planned works. She also provides assistance to our finance department with credit control and prepping for invoice.
Name: Lisa Pinner  Finance Clerk  Lisa joined DMS in 2015 and works closely with our finance team. She has over 8 years experience in finance and administration and holds a Pitmans Accounting Diploma. It is Lisa’s responsibility to complete and close all our reactive works, ensuring that all jobs are fully complete in order to close them with our clients in a timely manner. Lisa further ensures that our operatives provide extensive closure details so that we are able to provide our clients with highly detailed reports and quotations. Lisa is in charge of invoicing at DMS and is very efficient at helping with organisation all financial aspects of the company. Lisa will raise all our sales invoices as well as processing supplier invoices.
Name: Robert Green  Quotes & Purchasing Officer  Robert joined DMS in 2016 and has 30 years experience in procurement with extensive experience in purchasing a range of services including mailing operations, printing, office furniture, office stationery and company vehicles. He later moved on to work at the Creative Foundation where he was responsible for the acquisition and refurbishment of properties in the Creative Quarter of Folkestone as well as new builds such as Quarterhouse. Robert is now the quotes and purchasing officer for DMS, he will compile quotations for our clients ensuring they are clear and informative. Robert will also make sure that all the quote information is received from our operatives in a timely manner so we are able to get our quotations over to our valued clients as quickly as possible after the jobs have been viewed.
Name: Georgina King  MCMI - Head of Finance  Joined DMS in 2013, now with 10 years’ experience in accountancy, and qualified acca.

Name: Rachel Wilsdon   Customer Service Administrator   Rachel joined the team in 2018 and has fitted straight in with the DMS team. She has over 15 year’s experience in the administration and customer sector and holds both an administration diploma and customer service diploma. Rachel does extensive checks every day to make sure that all jobs received from our clients are loaded on to our system so that we can schedule them in a timely manner. Her duties are extremely important in ensuring every job we receive contains all the vital job details and are clear to read for our operatives. She is also responsible for dealing with the day to day telephone queries that we receive.
Name: Kevin Heath  Senior Project and Health & Safety Manager BSC with first Class Honours  Kevin joined DMS in 2013 with over 30 years’ experience in all aspects of building techniques and practices including maintenance, refurbishment & new build construction. Kevin works closely alongside the company directors ensuring the smooth day to day running of all works activities.  Kevin is a qualified engineer who progressed on through to Project and health and safety management backed up with a full four-part NEBOSH Health & Safety Certification.   Kevin has built up mutually respectful working relationships with the senior management teams of our larger clients and heads our regular client contract meetings where our SLA`s & KPI`s are analysed and our general performance is discussed.
